Korean Dictionary iOS app
Privacy Policy
Effective date: June 25, 2026
Overview
Korean Dictionary is designed as a simple, offline Korean-English dictionary for learners. The iOS app does not require an account, does not show ads, and does not include third-party analytics or tracking SDKs.
Information We Collect
The Korean Dictionary iOS app does not collect personal information from you. Dictionary words, word lists, examples, and notes are bundled with the app and can be used offline.
Information Stored on Your Device
If you save favorite words, the app stores those favorites locally on your device using Apple's local app storage. Favorite words are used only to show your saved list inside the app. We do not receive or store your favorites on our servers.
Pronunciation
The app uses Apple's built-in speech synthesis to pronounce Korean words. The app does not record your voice and does not request microphone access.
Network Access
Core dictionary features are offline. The About screen includes a link to korean-dict.com; opening that link leaves the app and uses your browser or system web experience, which may be subject to the website's own privacy practices.
Third Parties
The iOS app does not use advertising networks, third-party analytics, or third-party tracking services.
Children's Privacy
The app is a general educational dictionary. Because the app does not collect personal information, we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy if the app's features or privacy practices change. Updates will be posted on this page.
